If so, they may be a candidate for a Public Advisor Position on the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board of Directors.
The Public Advisor attends regular Board of Director meetings and would provide insight from the perspective of the public, as well as expertise in areas outside those usually within membership’s expertise (law, accounting, self-regulation, advocacy, etc.). The Public Advisor is appointed and as they will assist in ensuring that the FVREB retains the public’s trust in the practice of its members, this position is not open to members or licensees.
