Show Up. Vote. Lead.

The FVREB AGM is the one time each year when members literally have their say about the future of the Board.

Your vote is your voice about how you want to see the Board evolve. It’s easy to underestimate the power of a single vote. Yet governance motions can pass or fail by less than five percent, and leadership elections are often decided by dozens, not hundreds, of votes. When participation is low, decisions are shaped by a small group. When participation increases, outcomes better reflect the full membership and carry greater legitimacy and accountability.

Make no mistake: this responsibility matters. Your vote is key to building a responsive, member-driven association will guide growth, advance policy, and shape governance in the best interests of the membership.

In addition to electing Directors and Officers, members will vote on two Special Resolutions that propose amendments to the Board’s Bylaws. The first Special Resolution proposes the appointment of one Public Director to the Board, bringing a different perspective and set of skills and knowledge to the Board. The second Special Resolution proposes decreasing the voting threshold for the removal of Officers or the CEO.

This year’s AGM is on March 12. Attend in person or online and make sure your say is counted. Visit the AGM Page on FVREB Connect for complete information and details—and check back for weekly updates.
