Case Study #293 examines a REALTOR® who sent her buyer to view a property without being accompanied or supervised by a licensee, and who provided her Lockbox Access Card and/or One Day Showing Code to a member of the public. This REALTOR® executed a Consent to Discipline acknowledging a breach of:

  • CREA Standards of Business Practice Article 12: Skilled and Conscientious Service;
  • Rules of Cooperation 6.02 (b): Appointments;
  • Rules of Cooperation 10.01 (a), (c), and (e): Lockboxes and Access Cards – Terms of Use.
