Tech Tip # 17 — Searching in Your Paragon® Connect Mobile App

In Tech Tip #16, you learned how to download the new Paragon Connect mobile app. Now, you can master how to perform a basic search in Paragon Connect.

The properties search function in Paragon Connect is the same as the search in Paragon Pro (desktop). You can search by property class with a wide variety of criteria.

How to search:

  1. Open the navigation menu

2. Select Properties

Here, you can search by property class. You also have options to search Near Me, Hotsheet, and Tour and Open House. Your ‘My Saved Searches’ are at the bottom of the page.

3. Click the property class you wish to search for. On this page, you can save your search criteria or find a specific field. More options are available in the tool bar menu, including:

  • Criteria Summary: View only fields containing criteria.
  • My Saved Searches: Access previously saved searches.
  • Update Default Template: Replace the default search template with your current form fields and criteria.
  • Last 5 Searches: Quickly retrieve any of your last five searches for the selected property class.
  • Customize Fields: Add or remove fields from the search form.
  • Modify Search Containers: It’s recommended to avoid using this option.

4. After you select your criteria such as area, sub-area, list price etc., hit the search button in the bottom right corner. Your search criteria will display the number of search results on the top bar.

Viewing Your Search Results:

  1. Search results in Paragon Connect automatically display in thumbnail view, but you have the option to also view your results in map or spreadsheet view.

On the top bar of your search results screen, you will find the following icons:

Filter: to refine your search with additional criteria.

Save Search: to save your search

More Options: to access your previously saved searches.

You can view the details of a listing by clicking anywhere on the listing card.

2. On the search results page, you can check the box in the upper-left corner of the listing to see more options including the share icon which lets you email or text the listing to a client or copy the link.

For more options on selected listings, click the More Options (three dots) button in the upper-right corner. Here you will find:

  • Add To Cart: Add the listings to a Listing Cart.
  • Recommend: Add listings to a client’s Collaboration Center. If they don’t have one, it will create it and send them a welcome message.
  • Driving Directions: Opens Google Maps to create directions to the selected listings with real-time navigation.
  • Add to CMA: Use the listings as comparables for a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA).
  • Third Party Integrations: Send the listings to third-party apps integrated with Paragon Connect.

By following these quick steps, you’ll be able to perform searches, view results, and manage listings efficiently within Paragon Connect. Whether you’re filtering search criteria, saving searches, or sharing listings with clients via email, text, or link, Paragon Connect offers a user-friendly experience. Additionally, with features like driving directions and third-party app integrations, managing and sharing properties has never been easier.
