Langley REALTORS®: Have clients with unused fruit trees? Donate it!

Do you or clients of yours have fruit-providing trees or bushes collecting dust in the backyard? If so: good news!

The Langley Environmental Partners Society (LEPS) has announced a ‘Community Harvest’ program to utilize fruit plants that sit idle.  Volunteers will collect fruit found on local backyard plants that otherwise go unused, and share it between the donor, volunteers, and community organisations like local food banks. The program welcomes any fruit trees, berry bushes, backyard vegetables, or even commercial farms.

If you’re interested in participating in the program, you can find further details and registration on the LEPS website.
