Tech Tip: Time to give your browser engine a tune-up

If you don’t maintain your car engine, you’re eventually going to notice a drop in performance and time lost waiting for repairs. The same principle holds for your internet browser. Keeping your browser running in top condition will reduce problems using the internet. Take time to periodically clear your browsing history and cache and you’ll notice fewer glitches and faster performance doing searches. Here is how to do this on Google Chrome which is the most popular browser nowadays.

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Click ⋮ Icon on the top right corner

3. Select Settings

4. Click the Advanced option at the bottom

5. Click the Clear Browsing Data option
6. Check the Cached images and files box and Browsing History box.
