Show your listings correctly on Google Maps

When REALTOR.ca made the switch from Bing Maps to Google Maps in order to improve search capabilities (such as Google Street View) members had the opportunity to offer clients a closer look at properties and surrounding areas.

But some members are missing out on this opportunity by entering incorrect or invalid postal codes (such as N0N0N0) in their listings. The problem is that listings with incorrect postal codes do not show up in the map search of REALTOR.ca.

Take a minute to review these tips to ensure your listing is showing correctly on Google Maps.

  1. Go through and verify that your new listings are showing up properly on Paragon’s mapping system and the current REALTOR.ca mapping system.
  2. If your listing isn’t correct, update the pin on Paragon, and the new coordinates will be reflected on REALTOR.ca within 24 hours. To do that, follow the instructions here on REALTOR Link®.
  3. If you want to be absolutely certain that your listing will map, follow through on #2, even if it is displaying correctly in Paragon. When you move the pin, the coordinates are sent to REALTOR.ca which guarantees that the pin is showing up exactly where you need it to.
