Tech Tip: TalkDelta goes mobile

The City of Delta has updated their TalkDelta mobile phone app designed to serve residents and businesses. As a REALTOR®, you can use it too.

The menu selection is extensive. For example, under “Building and Development,” you can find a wide range of subjects that may be relevant to you such as zoning, construction, permits, and property information. There is an option to input addresses for specific site information as well. Secondary suites has its own category.

The recent update includes details on the upcoming municipal election, such as voter eligibility, registration information, and voting locations with an interactive map.

Using your mobile phone or an online form, you can request service, report a problem, or ask a question that will then be directed to the relevant department.

Download the TalkDelta app on your smartphone from Google Play or the App Store.

The City of Surrey also has their own helpful service apps. You may remember we featured them in previous NewsReal stories. One is the Surrey COSMOS mobile mapping app, which provides information on properties, community services, transportation, land use, parks and recreation and  infrastructure images. Find out more about COSMOS here on the City website.

The other one is the Surrey RCMP app that displays crime information in the City such as photos of missing or wanted people, an online file-a-report service for minor crimes, emergency alerts and the locations of police stations.  It’s free and downloadable at on both the App Store and Google Play.
