Simple, effective improvements to latest version of Paragon

As of Wednesday, September 23, you are now using the most up to date version of Paragon:  5.79.

What’s changed? With this update, you’ll notice a number of subtle enhancements to multiple functions making the system more user friendly and intuitive.

Here are the highlights!

1. Ability to Import Yahoo Contacts

Not only can you import your contacts from Outlook, but now you can now import them directly from your Yahoo account too.  This new option will allow you to browse, search and select Yahoo contacts to import into Paragon.

Important to note! With the last upgrade, Paragon introduced the ability to be able to import Google contacts. Due to recent licensing issues between Paragon and Google, that capability has been suspended temporarily while the issue gets resolved. Any existing contacts you currently have imported from Google will remain within the system but importing new ones is on hold for now.

2. See how your client is receiving your notifications: email OR Collab Center

Attention Collaboration Center users! (And if you’re not, you should be – it’s the best way to get feedback from your clients re: listings.)

The Contact Summary page within the Paragon Contact Manager has been enhanced to now indicate whether your client is receiving auto-notification emails or Collaboration Center Notifications.

Previously it would only visually indicate when email searches were attached to your client.

Now when you go to your Contact and select Contact Summary you will be able to see all notifications sent out to that client and how they were sent. The grid now indicates: Off, Email, or Collab Center.

To view this change, you can select Contacts > View Manage Contacts > Click on the Contact Name you wish to view > Click on Contact Summary > Search Activity section.

3. More Collab Centre improvements: View your client’s comments and see the Listing Details side by side

You notify your client through their Collab Centre about a new listing. The blue bubble indicates they’ve commented!

You click on the bubble…

Up comes the Manage Comments box in the Collab Center. You’ll see that Paragon has now created a new view where you can see the listing report next to any comments made by your client (or you) all in the same spot. This change allows you to be able to read comments and know exactly what property your client is looking at, and you can comment right back at them.

This is super helpful if you’ve notified them about a few listings, they make a comment, and you can’t immediately remember which one they’re referring to. Great enhancement to save you time and backtracking,

To view this change, you can select Contacts > View Manage Contacts > Click on the Contact Name you wish to view > click on the blue bubble beside the contact.

*Watch for a Tech Tip on this shortly from the Helpdesk!

4. Attention Broker Load Offices: Add your Open House or Tour to your Partial or FA listing

Now you can add Tour and Open House events to your Partial Listings. The Add/Edit Tour and Add/Edit Open House options for Partial listings have been added to the left navigation pane in Listing Input/Maintenance, and in the Quick Actions modal.

Once you have entered some basic information on the listing and saved it as a partial these options will become available to you.  Tour and Open House events on Partial Listings will not go out to the public or fellow Members nor will it display in Tour and Open House searches, until the listing is saved as a full listing.

Last but not least, did you notice the Power Search bar is longer? They’ve increased the size of that search bar to make it easier to use based on member feedback, and you asked for more space.
