Paragon Bids 2022 Goodbye With a New Set of Updates to Tours, Hotsheet Alerts, and More

Paragon 5.92 went live on Tuesday, December 6. It is the last update for the year – and it is loaded with improvements. Here are six of the most notable changes on Paragon Connect:

1) Contact List Updates
Need to quickly access your client’s info? Three shortcut actions that do just that have been added.

Tap on the phone icon to view a list of all phone numbers associated with a client. Depending on your device, you may call the client by clicking on the phone number. Tap on the SMS icon to send a text.

Click on the email icon to view a list of email addresses associated with the client. (Tip: You can select more than one email address.)

Tap on the web icon to go to your client’s Collaboration Centre site. (Note: This will only work if your client has a notification setup.)

2) Rich Text Editor
Styling options are now available when composing an email. The all-new Rich Text Editor supports text adjustability such as italics, bold, underline, and stroke. It also lets you insert links and unordered and numbered bullets.

3) Hotsheet Alert Save
The latest version also allows you to set a Hotsheet alert while you save a new search. The maximum number is five. Once you meet this threshold, saving a new alert will be disabled.

4) Tours
Now, you can now add, edit, and delete tours. This will sync with your Paragon Professional and will allow you to see any tours created in both systems.  (Note: Adding/editing tours is disabled if your system utilizes “Tour Groups”.)

Add New Tour
Go to a listing that you can edit. Once you are on the listing edit form, the overflow icon (three dots) will contain a new option called “Tours,” which will house all tours for that listing. Click on the purple “+” icon in the lower right-hand corner to launch the “Add Tour” popup window. Fill out the form and click “Save.”

Edit
Tap on the card, then click on the overflow icon to see editing options.

Delete/+Calendar
To add an event to your device’s calendar, click on the “+Calendar”.
To remove a tour from a listing, select “Delete”.

5) Associated Documents Listing Input Maintenance
If enabled in Paragon Professional, you can now upload or manage documents for your listings. Navigate to the listing edit screen in the “Listing Input Maintenance” module to get started. (Note: Associated Documents on Paragon Professional and Paragon Connect follow the same logic for document size and type, number of documents, etc.)

Add a Document
Tap on the + button to display the ‘Add Document’ upload page. You will then see the following options:

  • Choose File

This will open the native file selection option for your device.

  • Description
  • Document Type
    This will show as a drop-down menu, but it will only be displayed if enabled by your administrator.
  • Share with Public

Checking this option will make the document publicly displayed in Collaboration Centre and will be available to share via email.

  • Upload

Manage Documents
Click on the document card to open the document.

Select ‘Delete’ if you want to remove the document.

Tap on “Edit” to edit the description, document type, and share option. As previously mentioned, the document type field will only display if it is enabled by your administrator.

When you’re done, click “Save”.

6) Co-Agent
Co-Agents are now added to any listing that contains a secondary agent on the listing. Tap on the “Listing Agent” or “Co-Agent” to view additional agent and office information.
