There will be changes to Standard Forms on WEBForms® to reflect the rules coming into effect on June 15th, 2018. Here is what you need to know prior to those changes being implemented.
As mentioned in our previous article, once the new rules come into effect on June 15, outdated versions of the standard forms will no longer be available on WEBForms®. Please discard any print or electronic copies of previous versions on June 15, 2018 as these forms will no longer be compliant. Click HERE for a list of forms that have been revised to date.
What you need to be aware of in WEBForms®
WEBForms® will not go back through already created Transaction Kits to update old forms.
Reason: They do not want to alter history. A transaction could already be completed, or signed, or in mid-negotiations. There is no way currently for WEBForms ® to know the “State” of the transaction.
Copying an already created Transaction Kit.
You will be shown the Kit Copy screen which will allow you to upgrade the forms in the new Transaction Kit automatically.
Using an already created Template Kit.
You will be shown the Kit Copy screen which will allow you to upgrade the forms in the new Transaction Kit automatically.
As well, the forms in the Template Kits will also be upgraded at that time for future use.
