Are you protecting your identity and password?

Are others using your login credentials to access Paragon, REALTOR Link® or WEBForms®?

If so, your legal contracts, client data and listing information may be vulnerable. It is your responsibility to ensure your data is protected, and it’s your obligation as a member to ensure you keep your password private – sharing your password is a violation of our rules and our software terms of service agreements, and you could be penalized.

You are not required to share your password with anyone, not a team member, not an assistant, not an office administrator and not your broker. If any of these colleagues need access to assist you in your work, we have a great tool that helps you collaborate and protects your valuable data at the same time: Assume Identity.

Assume Identity is easy to set up and easy for your assistant or colleagues to use. Set up Assume Identity by accessing User Preferences in Paragon under the main Icon “Preferences.”

  1. Go to Preferences (top right-hand corner of your screen), User, then Assume Identity.
  2. Click on + Add in the top left corner of the Assume Identity window.
  3. Search for the Agent to add and then click on Save.

Next time your colleague logs into REALTOR link®, they will be given the choice to log into their own account or log in as you. Once they are in Paragon, they will be able to click on Assume Identity within their own Paragon home page and work on your behalf.

It is that easy. It is important to do this and put an end to others logging in with your credentials.
