Hi, Richard Robbins here. As a Realtor, each time you work with a client it’s more than just another transaction, it’s more than just an income. When you stop and think about it it’s actually an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. When you broaden your perspective one of the most powerful questions you can ask yourself is, “how you can make the stressful and complicated process of buying, selling or leasing a property better.”

For many of us, it’s just a small change in our approach. It’s about remembering why we decided to become Realtors and why we choose to stay. I urge you to try and shift your thinking away from maybe doing 40 deals this year, towards how  you can help 40 people achieve their real estate goals.

When you make this tiny change you’ll notice how you move from prospecting to educating, and then what you do is you move from doing a job to being a trusted adviser with your clients. When you focus on your passion for real estate, you’ll notice how it attracts clients, because we’re all in business to be of service to our customers. And when you focus on truly being of service, and consistently exceeding customers’ expectations, you’re also building a highly productive, long term business that is overflowing with referrals… and we all know that a referral is the ultimate sign of a job well done.
