Unfortunately, this event has sold-out and there is no longer space available. However, the session will be recorded and shared at a later date.
“And now for something completely different…”
The new Rules from Council, in effect as of June 15, have changed our world. Or have they?
On Thursday, July 19, join the Board’s dynamic duo in Professional Standards – Dennis Wilson and Paul Cowhig – as they explore the new real estate landscape in British Columbia, and answer your questions relating to the new Rules and what that means for you.
The one-and-a-half hour session will kick off with a brief recount of what has actually changed and why things seem so complicated, and then launch into the practical challenges of:
- lead generation – cold calling, door knocking, answering your phone
- implied agency – open houses, past clients
- how to have a simple conversation about real estate with a perfectly nice person who is not yet your client
The session will be held twice on Thursday, once at 10:00 AM and again at 1:00 PM, at the Board’s downstairs theatre and registration is free.
UPDATE: Due to popular demand by members, a third session has been added to the TLC Calendar on Friday, July 20 from 10 am to 11:30 am in the Board’s theatre.
We have heard from many of you who are struggling during this transition, and want to make sure that you have the support you need to adapt. Bring your questions, feedback, and concerns, as this is an excellent opportunity to get the answers and clarification that you’re looking for.
