With our last update regarding REALTORS® of BC, we let you know that the province-wide vote for the initiative was postponed to December 6 so that we could provide you further insight and data to ensure that you’re fully informed before making a decision.
In an effort to provide you with that information, the President’s Working Group is pleased to release the full business case for REALTORS® of BC, which is a summary of the project assessment, including the phases of the work undertaken, assumptions, analysis conducted, and the strategic and business cases developed that led to the proposed amalgamation.
The development of the business case formally began in early 2015, when presidents of each real estate board in B.C. and the BCREA formed a working group to evaluate opportunities to improve Organised Real Estate within the province. The President’s Working Group established a Project Team that included presidents and Executive Officers to undertake the assessment with the assistance of external subject matter experts from PricewaterhouseCoopers and WATSON Advisers.
