The City of White Rock needs REALTORS®’ input on the latest version of WROMS, their online mapping system. They are also looking for volunteers to join their committees.
White Rock’s online mapping system:
WROMS allows people to access information about any property in White Rock, such as:
- zoning
- land use
- underground utilities
- schools
- parks
- city facilities and more
The new features of the beta version include:
- better browser support
- new 2016 Air Photo
- the option to turn off layers from the legend
- the ability to clear all graphics
- zoom to coordinates and more!

City committee volunteer opportunities:
The City of White Rock is looking for volunteers to join the following groups. Note: The deadline to apply is January 23 at 4:30 pm. Applicants from the City are given priority but they welcome all volunteers.
- Cultural Advisory Committee: Advises staff and council on cultural services and monitors the progress of the 2014-2018 Cultural Strategic Plan. This is an excellent opportunity to build awareness, support art and culture initiatives in the community and encourage cooperation and coordination among organizations.
- Public Art Advisory Committee: Advises council on the implementation of public art policies and projects for the City.
- Tour de White Rock Committee: A group mandated by council to organize, promote, and host a high profile elite caliber cycling event called the Tour de White Rock.
The City is also looking for additional volunteers to help with sponsorship, community events, marketing and communications.
