In Aldergrove, a group of dedicated women has been knitting blankets for over a decade in support of the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive. These handmade creations provide warmth to those in need and embody the care these ladies have for their community. Every Thursday, the Aldergrove Needlecraft Club gathers to knit items which they generously donate to community causes like the Blanket Drive.
Thanks to the Board’s contribution of over 30 pounds of yarn, these talented knitters have a great head start for the summer. This supply will keep their needles clicking as they continue their important work.
As we enjoy the warmth of summer, it’s a perfect time to think ahead and make a difference. Remember to hold on to your coats, jackets, blankets, and other winter essentials for the 30th Annual REALTORS® Care Blanket Drive planned for November. Together, we can ensure no one is left out in the cold.
