What You Need to Know: REALTOR.ca Single Sign-on (SSO)

By now you will have seen various forms of communication regarding CREA’s Single Sign-on (SSO), including FVREB eMemo #4249.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 26, members will be required to have a REALTOR.ca SSO account to continue using the following CREA services:

In addition to the single sign-on, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will also be implemented to verify your identity. This will require you to enter a system-generated code sent to you by text message or email.

If you have dual membership, you will have received emails from CREA for each board of which you are a member. You MUST use the same email address for each board profile so that your profiles are linked together under the same REALTOR.ca SSO account.

If you have two different email addresses for each of your memberships, you must:

  • Click the CREA links sent to your two email addresses,
  • Use one email address only when creating each of your new accounts.

In addition to CREA services, you will also need your new SSO for continued access to BCREA services including BCREA’s self-paced courses (PDP credits).

As of September 12, members will no longer be able to skip past the pop-up and will be required to set up their SSO account.

If you have questions, contact CREA’s Member Experience Centre from 5:00 a.m. PST to 5:00 p.m. PST by calling 1-888-237-7945 or email support@crea.ca.
