Last month we looked at the expanded Property Type search field in StatsCentre and how it can help you gather better data as you support your clients through a purchase or sale.
But for those members who do business across Board areas, StatsCentre can also help you gather better data to compare two areas that fall under two different Boards areas.
Let’s say, for example, you have a client who is looking for a detached home in either Maple Ridge or Mission. You can use StatsCentre to generate graphs to compare these two areas even though they fall under different jurisdictions.
Click on the arrow beside FVREB to select your Board, area or subarea — for example, the area of Mission.
Then select a property type(s), price range and any other criteria you want to specify.
Beside the location drop down menu, click ‘add an area’ and select the second location you wish to compare to — for example, the area of Maple Ridge.
Your search will generate two (or more) graph lines comparing detached homes in Mission and Maple Ridge.
Stay tuned for future Tech Tips delving further into the “My Areas” function in StatsCentre.
