Paragon 5.99, the first Paragon upgrade for 2024, was released on January 16. Here’s a breakdown of the enhancements:
Paragon Professional
- Improved Display for Collaboration Centre Email History
Navigating search results is now easier and faster. You will no longer see the formatted version of emails with images. Instead, counts for each listing match type included in an email update are displayed. Each match count will have a quick link that opens the listing.
The improved display will also improve the overall speed of the Paragon system. Formatted versions of automated emails use up large disk storage in servers. The changes will significantly free up server space.
Please note:
- Emails for Contacts and Agents will appear significantly different in ‘Message History;’ and
- You will no longer be able to forward the messages from the ‘Message History’ due to the formatting change of the notification emails.
Paragon Connect
- New Advanced Drawing Tools for Map Search
There is no one size fits all, or in this case one shape fits all, when searching for properties within a specific area. The ‘Drawing Tool’ on the ‘Map View,’ shown as a brush and pencil icon, now offers multiple ways to draw custom shapes that you can apply to your search criteria. Choose from a freehand draw, polygon, rectangle, or radius.
A new ‘Manage Shapes’ menu can be found on the lower map. The menu displays additional options for all the shapes that appear on your ‘Map View’ search. These include modifying the boundaries of any existing shape, setting a shape to exclude listings from the search, or deleting the shape altogether.
A badge count will indicate the number of shapes created.
- New Sort Options for Thumbnail View from Property Search
A new ‘Sort’ option can now be found in the thumbnail view overflow menu when viewing results from a standard property search. This feature provides multiple options for sorting results, like by listing ID, price, area, square feet.
After selecting the sort-field you can choose to sort the results in either ascending or descending order.
