As advised in eMemo #4348, as of November 20, 2025, sales history for active residential listings on REALTOR.ca will begin displaying sale price information (“sold” prices) for transactions that occurred 90 days or more before the property’s most recent MLS® listing date. Currently all displayed sold prices are delayed by one year.
This update follows the transition to displaying historical prices initiated by CREA in 2022 and brings the provincial real estate boards into alignment.
Importantly, it continues the sector’s ongoing efforts to provide greater transparency and tools for the home buying and selling public to aid in decision-making. At a time when the housing sector is under scrutiny and pressure, access to more data is better for all stakeholders and these enhancements help to strengthen public trust in our members and our profession.
