Here’s an important heads-up for anyone using the SentriKey® Real Estate app: make sure your app is updated before your next showing.
Starting August 4, 2025, SentriLock will require users to be on the latest version of the app. If your app is out of date, you’ll be prompted to update it before you can access your lockbox. That means if you wait until you’re standing outside a property with clients in tow, you could face a forced update and an unexpected delay.
First impressions count. Arriving at a showing only to be locked out of a property due to an outdated app can create unnecessary stress for you and your clients. Members are advised to open the SentriKey® Real Estate app and check for updates before Monday, August 4.
Important details:
- The minimum required version for both iOS and Android is 5.90.0.
- On August 4 you’ll receive an in-app prompt if your app needs an update.
- No need to update your phone or operating system — just the app itself.
Every quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1), SentriLock will require you to have the latest version of the app.
Take a moment at the start of each quarter to open the SentriKey® Real Estate app and ensure it’s up to date. A quick check now could save you time and hassle at your next showing.
