Introducing our new public website!

Ta-da! Welcome to the new, the primary resource for your clients, the public, and the media to learn about our organisation and members.

If you’ve ever used or visited our public site, whether it was for obtaining the latest stats package, reading Board news releases, or learning about our history, you probably thought, like us, that it was due for an upgrade.

With that in mind, we wanted to make our website a resource that was modern, visually appealing, and effectively designed to help visitors find what they were looking for easily (and look good doing it).

Here’s a look at what we came up with:

If you’ll recall, this is what the site used to look like:

This was no longer working, for a number of reasons.

First, we needed critical content, such as Consumer Info, Statistics, and Board News to be more prominently displayed. Along with that, other areas of information, like our history, leadership, and community initiatives, needed to be easier to navigate to.

Secondly, in addition to the makeover, the new website had to become mobile-friendly. If you’re reading this from your phone or tablet, you’ll see that it now is, and can be viewed from anything you try to look at it on (rather than the scrambled content that would appear on the old version). If you’d like to bookmark the site on your phone for easy access, you can view our guide here (just replace any mention of ‘Newsreal’ with the new

And finally, we wanted a site you could be proud of. Again, this is a resource for not only the public and the media, but for your clients. We hope that this can be used as a tool for you to help your clients understand the process of working with a REALTOR® and their options as a consumer.
