While the housing market may be hot within the Fraser Valley, the housing market inside the FVREB office was just as hot – for gingerbread houses, that is. Despite the frenzied pace of work, even as 2021 winds to a close, FVREB staff still found time to compete in the first ever Staff Gingerbread House Building Contest!
All twenty-three entries were festive and very creative as staff outdid themselves to vie for the top prize. Some entries were so good, they were almost worthy of an MLS® listing! And although every entry was amazing, only one entry could be voted “best” by staff members. The winning entry – appropriately named ‘’Location! Location! Location!’ – reigned supreme over all others. Modelled after a tree house, it came complete with a pretzel ladder, a ‘tree trunk’ made of Cinnamon Wheaties, and even contained a furnished interior with candy furniture.
Congrats to all contestants – time to start drawing up plans for the 2022 contest!
