Each year at the FVREB Annual General Meeting we honour a member with the Board’s highest accolade, the John Armeneau Professional Award, named after the 1992 honouree, a 25-year veteran who embodied the true spirit of what it meant to be a REALTOR®.
We’re calling on all members to nominate worthy candidates to continue this tradition of recognizing those among our ranks who make the profession shine with the same passion, dedication, leadership, and commitment that John possessed.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 28, 2022. A panel of judges, including past recipients and the Board President will review each nomination and a formal presentation will take place at the AGM in late March 2022. The judging criteria include:
- Be a member in good standing of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board.
- Project a positive professional image of the real estate industry and display high standards of professionalism and business ethics;
- Be passionate about the advancement of the profession;
- Demonstrate initiative and leadership through actions that bring a lasting benefit to the membership and/or the profession (e.g., sharing time & experience with others);
- Be involved directly or indirectly with the communities in which they reside or work and make a positive impact; and
