Today’s eMemo contains the following updates:
- Casting call to all members for the FVREB 100th Anniversary Commemorative Video production
- How to submit memorabilia for the commemorative video
As part of the FVREB’s 100th Anniversary celebrations, we are creating a commemorative video to be launched in the fall. If you have any photographs, videos or other memorabilia (artifacts) that can help to tell the story of the FVREB, we’d love to see them!
Some examples might be:
- A photo of you standing beside your first lawn sign
- An old business card
- An old newspaper ad
We are also looking for several individuals to appear in short on-camera segments. If you are interested and eager for a chance at your 15 minutes of fame, please submit a short video audition clip answering one of the following questions (maximum 2 minutes in length and iPhone or computer are just fine):
- What do you love most about being a Realtor?
- What is your favourite memory about being a Realtor in the Fraser Valley?
- What does being a member of the FVREB mean to you?
Please send photos and videos to communications@fvreb.bc.ca, noting “Commemorative Video” in the subject line.
The deadline for video audition submissions is end of business day on Monday, August 30 2021.
A Note about Artifacts
If you have interesting artifacts, please submit pictures or video of these items to be considered for the commemorative video.
