Ensuring Compliance in Strata Management: Registration Opens for Applied Practice Course

Strata management is a regulated real estate service under BC’s Real Estate Services Act, and anyone providing these services must hold the appropriate strata management licence. Because strata managers oversee budgets, trust funds, maintenance contracts, and compliance obligations on behalf of strata corporations, the role carries significant legal and financial responsibility.

To support licensees in meeting these responsibilities, BCFSA is launching the Strata Management Applied Practice Course (APC) on March 30, 2026.

This six-month program is designed to bridge the gap between licensing education and real-world practice. Through practical, hands-on learning, participants gain applied experience that prepares them to confidently manage day-to-day strata operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The program is recommended for individuals who have recently passed the strata management licensing exam, as well as new and experienced strata managers seeking to strengthen their practical skills.

Registration is now open. The course fee is $875. For full details and enrollment information, visit the BCFSA website.
