Coming soon: FVREB Connect – the future home of FVREB’s digital services

This coming September will see the beginning of a new chapter in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board’s online identity with the re-launch of FVREB Connect (members will recall the platform was initially introduced at the last AGM). At that time REALTORLink® will be discontinued and no longer administered or supported by CREA. And while in the near term, FVREB Connect will become the new member website and portal, in the months and years to follow, the new platform will take us into a new era of digital innovation and online engagement.

During this initial phase of the vision, members will find a new home to support professional endeavours, with an updated look and feel, and a revamped, simplified menu structure to make it easier to locate tools, services and other Board information essential to your daily business dealings. Instrumental in helping to guide this initial phase were the findings of our recent REALTORLink® survey which helped identify member priorities and usage trends for the website (thank you to all who took part in the survey!).

Upon this foundation, over the months that follow, members can expect to find revitalized services to help with their day-to-day business affairs, such as an upgraded Medallion dashboard, a more efficient process for submitting your forms to the Board and enhanced functionalities for managing your PDP requirements, and account and profile.

Over the longer term, FVREB Connect will leverage smart technologies, a modern architecture, and enhanced analytics, to create a cloud-native platform that adds value to help REALTORS® deal with the increasing complexities of the marketplace in the face of unpredictable fluctuations and competitive threats. As the Board continues to grow, FVREB Connect will grow along with it to create a critical hub for communications, engagement, and exchange in support of a cohesive membership.

During the coming weeks, we’ll keep you updated on our work with sneak peeks and insights into what to expect, including a look at revamped menus, and an opportunity to take the new platform for a “test drive” prior to launching in September. Look for regular updates starting soon in the FVREB Connect Bulletin.
