Brokers who want to stay on top of what’s coming down the pike are encouraged to attend the next regular meeting of the Real Estate Council of BC on November 18, a place where key decisions are discussed and upcoming changes are revealed.
The Council’s meeting agenda will be available online two weeks before the meeting. Licensed REALTORS®, the public and media are all welcome to attend Council meetings as observers, but must identify themselves and their affiliation, if any. Other guidelines for attendance are:
- Observers are reminded that they are not participants in the meeting and must remain quiet throughout the proceedings.
- Cameras, recording devices, drawing or sketching are not permitted, and all mobile devices must be turned off before entering the meeting room.
- The Council Chair, at his/her discretion, may limit attendants to the number of available seats in the meeting room, which is why you must notify the Council at least 72 hours prior to the meeting to gain access.
- Individuals who miss the 72-hour notice period may be admitted at the discretion of the Council Chair.
All meeting agendas are subject to change. Please check back on this page before attending a meeting to ensure you have the most current agenda by emailing the Administrator at mmullarkey@recbc.ca.
Complete and submit your name, your organization, phone number and email in the Observer Attendance Form at least 72 hours in advance of a scheduled meeting to mediacontact@recbc.ca or call 604-683-9664
The November 18 Council meeting takes place from 9 am to 11:45 am, in the Douglas Fir Room, RECBC Offices, 900-750 West Pender St., Vancouver.
