Creating and uploading listings in WEBForms® is a key part of your workflow and using the right approach can save you time and prevent issues.
Here are a few important dos and don’ts to keep in mind:
Do: Create a New Transaction Kit (Recommended)
The most reliable approach is to start with a new transaction kit using an updated template. This ensures:
- Current, accurate Data Input Forms
- No outdated or lingering information
- Fewer upload errors or delays
Pro Tip: Open a previous listing in a separate window and copy/paste relevant details into the new form to save time.
Don’t: Use an Existing Transaction Kit
Once a listing has been uploaded, that transaction kit becomes part of a historical record. While you can still edit forms, the “Upload Listing” button will no longer be available, so it cannot be reused to create a new listing.
Use Caution When Duplicating Transaction Kits
Duplicating a kit may seem like a time-saver, but it can lead to problems:
- Outdated forms (DIFs) may not match current Paragon® fields
- Old or incorrect data may carry over
- In rare cases, duplicate listings may be created in error
While this method can work, it often creates more issues than it solves. To learn more about editing a transaction, watch this video.
