The newest version of Paragon is now live, and the best and most noticeable change is in how Paragon illustrates missing info or errors in Maintain Listing. Version 5.75 was launched on February 18. Here’s a quick run-down of the most important enhancements.
Easier to see and fix missing info or errors in Maintain Listing
Black Knight calls it the “Input Maintenance Table”; we call it the Maintain Listing function in your Actions drop-down menu.
You’ll see a big change now in how Paragon displays when you’re missing info or data in required fields or you have an error in a field.
Before, there was a small box in the bottom left corner, indicating if you were missing fields:
Now, there’s a whole new expandable list at the top of the Maintain Listing section. It warns you how many missing or incorrect fields you have, plus highlights the applicable fields (using icons and colours) so you can navigate to them easily AND (this is the best part) after you’ve corrected or filled those fields in, the error messages are automatically crossed out. How fun is that?!
Tip: New to expandable lists? See the thick grey line that separates the errors list from the listing data section? There’s a wee toggle button:
that allows you to expand your list if you have a number of warnings or shrink it once you’ve fixed all your warnings.
Ability to schedule recurring Open Houses and Tours in advance
Before this upgrade, you could only select a single date and open house/tour times. Now, you’ve got a handy calendar option that allows you to select multiple dates (and times) and save them.
Save Search and Listing Carts streamlined
The dialogue boxes for both these tools have been upgraded to match the design of Paragon’s other, newer dialogue boxes. They have simplified wording and better controls.
Tip: If you’re not familiar with Listing Carts… It’s a neat little tool under Saved Searches. This allows you to quickly and efficiently group listings that you want to set up for auto-notifications. Search by MLS® # and then just add the listing(s) to a cart. You can then enable auto-notifications for those listings in the cart to either yourself or a client.
A couple of final tweaks…. A little bit like lipstick and eyeshadow
These aren’t big changes, but they make Paragon look better and easier to use.
- Calendars have been upgraded making it easier to select date ranges.
- You’ll see a new ‘Privacy’ link in the bottom right corner – it’s to access Black Knight’s client Privacy Policy. You can’t remove this from that bar.
- Menu clean-up. If you happen to use any of the tree menus to access Reports or CMA, etc., you’ll notice that they’re less bulky, more intuitive and it’s just easier to click on the menu options that you want.
