In November, a new tool was implemented to support our MLS® in maintaining the quality of the listing information. Listing Data Checker (LDC) scans active listings for routine errors or violations in need of correction.
Since then, the Board has been updating each of the notifications you might receive from the Listing Data Checker with a new format so that they appear more clear and are easier to understand. Most recently, the Expiry Notice and Sold Notice have gone through that transition and will be sent out as of today, June 14, 2018.
As a reminder, here is what you would receive those two notifications for:
- Expiry Notice: A friendly email to the listing Realtor 7 days prior to the expiry of the listing, just to provide a heads up that the listing is about to expire; and
- Sold Notice: A friendly email, congratulating the listing realtor on the sale of their listing and asking them to check the details we have recorded for that sale.
In addition to the new look, instead of coming from mls_ops@fvreb.bc.ca, the notifications will now be sent from a new address: FVREB MLS Audit via the email EmailNotification@interealty.net.
If you have any questions about Listing Data Checker or any other tech-related Board services, call the Helpdesk at helpdesk@fvreb.bc.ca or 604-930-7626.
