Inform clients FAST in a hectic market!

We know you’re busy! A reminder that you can use your FVREB Stats Centre tool to quickly update your clients with market graphs specific to their property type and sub-area.

Log into REALTOR® Link > Under My Apps, click on the FVREB Stats Centre icon > (if you’ve never used it before) Click on User Manual & FAQ in top right corner > Watch the 7 minute how-to video! > Click on Stats Centre in top right corner to go back to main page and start building your client(s) a graph. (Reminder to first update your Profile so the cool graph they receive includes your photo and contact info.)

Here’s a taste of what you can do with the FVREB Stats Centre:

  • Compare up to four Boards (FVREB, REBGV, CADREB and BCNREB) or their areas or sub-areas
  • Graph back 1, 3, 5 or 10 years
  • Filter results for multiple housing variables i.e. price, residential property type, # of bedrooms
  • Customize price and square footage ranges
  • Analyze up to ten housing market metrics i.e. MLS® HPI (Benchmark) Price, Average Price, Sales to Active Listings Ratio, Days on Market, Price per Square foot, Percentage of Original Price
  • Do all this from your mobile device!
  • Share your search results online, in print or email; and keep your results static or allow them to be updated in real time (including adding the ability to add a graph of your choice to your blog or website!)

Sellers would benefit from:

  1. What are homes selling for in my sub-area? (Any of the price metrics)
  2. How long is it taking? (Average days on market)
  3. How close to asking price are sellers getting in my sub-area? (Percentage of original price)

Buyers would benefit from:

  1. What can I expect to pay for a home in a number of different sub-areas? (You can compare up to four different areas at the same time)
  2. What’s my selection like right now? (Actives indicates how much inventory was available on the last day of the last month; Sales to Actives indicates the health of the market comparing the ratio of number of sales to number of active listings)
  3. I want a 4,000 sq. ft. home and my budget is $800,000, is that possible? (Price per sq. ft.)

Once you build the graph that answers your client’s question, click share in the top right corner of your graph. To send your client a link to that graph, accept the default option and cut and paste the URL in an email to them. Include in the body of your email: Why this matters to you….

The Stats Centre is updated by no later than the third business day of the month with the previous month’s MLS® and MLS® Home Price Index data.
