It’s now official! CREA WEBForms 2019, powered by TransactionDESK®, will be available to all BC REALTORS® on July 31. And though we strongly encourage members to check it out, we recommend that members using REALTOR® Load (ADT) cool their jets until that feature is fully integrated.
The current version, CREA WEBForms® Legacy, will run concurrently with CREA WEBForms® 2019 from now until the end of the year to give you enough time to learn and move to the new system. CREA WEBForms® Legacy will retire on December 31, 2019.
Implementation and REALTOR® Load (ADT)
As mentioned, the new CREA WEBForms® 2019 is not yet integrated with FVREB’s REALTOR® Load (ADT).
As you know, our automated data transfer system (ADT) is unique to us and is one of the most comprehensive in Canada. We’re working closely with the developers of TransactionDESK® to ensure we’re able to offer you similar functionality. Over 80% of FVREB member listings are uploaded through REALTOR® Load (ADT) and our goal is to get this up-and-running as soon as possible.
Until REALTOR® Load (ADT) is available, we recommend that you continue to do your actual day-to-day work on the current CREA WEBForms® Legacy system to ensure you have access to REALTOR® Load (ADT). In the meantime, this is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the new platform, take part in training and archive any old Transaction Kits.
Things you can do now as part of the transition
- Get trained – more details on training below – CREA has numerous resources and FVREB is offering comprehensive in-house training as well, starting July 23.
- Decide what Transaction Kits you want to archive in CREA WEBForms® 2019 for your reference; and, delete those you don’t need. You can start transferring old Transaction Kits to the new platform at any time. Once you transfer Kits to the new platform, they become read-only for reference purposes.
- Do not transfer any active Transaction Kits for listings or deals that you’re currently working on. Once you transfer Kits to the new platform, they become read-only. Remember, you have until December 31 to move everything over.
- Check out the new platform! Take it for a test drive. TransactionDESK® is a cloud-based, feature-rich platform that manages all your documents and contacts in one centralized location. The program is intuitive, however there will be a learning curve.
- Remember, ADT users should complete existing transactions and create new listing kits for upload via ADT in CREA WEBForms® Legacy. For non-ADT users, any new transactions can be started and completed in CREA WEBForms® 2019.
Training
Training for CREA WEBForms® 2019 is available in a variety of formats. FVREB is currently offering lecture-style classroom information sessions and when the ADT integration is in place, hands-on training in our labs.
- Go to our TLC Calendar to register for FVREB’s FREE Introductory Information Session. The session dates are: July 23 and July 30 (four sessions each day).
- CREA’s robust WEBForms® 2019 Training Resources page features live and recorded webinars, quick-start videos and help guides. CREA is also offering webinars on July 22 and July 30. They’re approximately 45 minutes in length and start at 11 am (PDT).
