Professional Conduct case study #297 is now available

Case Study #297 examines a REALTOR® who shared/loaned his One Day Showing Code to a member of the public, who did not ensure the Buyers were accompanied by a licensee throughout an appointment, and who did not follow the Seller’s security instructions. This REALTOR® executed a Consent to Discipline acknowledging a breach of:

  • CREA Standards of Business Practice Article 12: Skilled and Conscientious Service;
  • Rules of Cooperation 6.02 (b): Appointments;
  • Rules of Cooperation 10.01 (a), (c), and (i): Lockboxes and Access Cards – Terms of Use; and
  • The REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
