Each year, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) invites members interested in running for election for the Board of Directors through a ‘Call for Nominations’.
Starting several months in advance of the Board’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March, the FVREB Nominating Committee welcomes interest from eligible candidates for the election of Directors and Officers and provides the FVREB President with a written report recommending candidates.
The Committee, made up of a group of member volunteers, is responsible for facilitating the nomination process and is committed to ensuring that all members are given a fair opportunity to run as a Director.
For this coming year, there are three director positions open (of a total of 12 elected volunteer members). Each position is for a two-year term, beginning April 1, 2022.
The Nominating Committee is accepting applications until February 9, 2022. The election of the 2022 FVREB Board of Directors will take place at the AGM on March 29, 2022.
