Your Clients Can Now Search Active Listings in Collab Centre

Effective December 13, 2022, in a joint initiative with Real Estate boards, REBGV, CADREB and BCNREB, and in response to member feedback, your buyers now have the ability to search for active listings using Paragon’s Collaboration Centre (Collab Centre). All searches will be accessible from the Buyer Activity section on the contact page.

How it Works

You will need to adjust the settings in the Collab Centre. You will be able to control which property types your clients will have the ability to search. By the settings you choose, you can decide if all of your clients can use this feature, or if you prefer to give access on a client-by-client basis.

Each client can have up to 10 saved searches including their own searches, or the ones you set up for them. Buyers will be able to create and save their own searches, but they won’t be able to edit the saved searches which you have set up for them.

You can also set up notifications so you can see when your clients create new searches or edit existing ones.

For Buyers

Once you’ve activated client searches, your clients will access the property search from their dashboard page. The search is map-based, so your client will first see a map search screen. From there, they can enter specific search criteria using a series of drop-down menus located above the map. Search criteria include:

  • Address
  • Location
  • Price
  • Bedrooms
  • Bathrooms
  • Property type

Buyers can save, edit, and delete their own saved searches at any time, but they cannot do this with the saved searches you set up for them.

Share this Guide for Buyers with your clients, which will take them through the steps on how to use the new search function.
