The FVREB is pleased to offer brokers and members a new service to offer your clients; the ability to market rentals on REALTOR.ca for properties located anywhere in BC.
This new, self-serve function is available now on Paragon Residential. FVREB members or office staff with Agent Modify access or higher can now manually add and edit Rental listings. Up until now, FVREB members could only search Rentals posted by REBGV members.
Please note: Rentals will not be added or managed by Board staff.
You’ll use two new forms to submit a Rental – a Rental Data Input Form (Rental DIF) and an Authority to Rent contract, both of which are available now on WEBForms® Legacy and CREA WEBForms® 2019.
Managing Brokers are responsible for ensuring that only qualified licensees use this service and an authorizing Broker will be required to sign the Authority to Rent contract.
Offices will receive confirmation emails after each rental listing is posted. Managing Brokers are responsible for checking the accuracy of the listings and ensuring they are maintained including updating the listing status when the property is rented or no longer on the market.
Given that Brokers are responsible for rental listings, they have already received direct communications on this from the Board.
