UPDATE: Start digging through your closets, because the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive is on now and we need all of the blankets and winter clothing we can get!
From November 14 – 21, member volunteers from our Board, along with Realtors® from Vancouver and Chilliwack, are collecting warm articles of clothing and blankets for in-need individuals throughout the Lower Mainland. Each year, our combined efforts help an estimated 20,000 people so it’s critical that we receive as many spare items as we can. We’re talking warm coats, sweaters, new socks and underwear, gloves, toques – If you have anything that you’re not using, someone out there surely can.
Over 100 real estate offices are acting as drop-off locations for donations. Items can be donated in bunches via garbage bags or official REALTORS® Care Blanket Drive donation bags (which are available at drop-off locations).
Your donations have a significant impact on the Fraser Valley charities we work with, and each year our members step up with lots to give. Let’s make this another great year for our Blanket Drive.
