Upcoming Webinar: Understanding Changes to the Property Disclosure Statement Forms

Property Disclosure Statement (PDS) forms are a key part of a REALTOR®’s professional toolkit, yet they can also be complex and at times challenging to navigate. Following the BC Court of Appeal’s decision in Sewell v. Abadian, BCREA has issued important mid-year updates (BCREA Access required) to the PDS, introduced a new Property No-Disclosure Statement, and revised the Disclosure of Material Latent Defects form. These changes are designed to reflect current legal interpretations, reduce risk, and support REALTORS® in protecting both their clients and the integrity of the transaction.

To ensure members fully understand these updates, BCREA is hosting a special webinar for FVREB members featuring BCREA’s Professionalism and Practice Initiatives Manager, Ryan DeLuca, alongside in-house legal counsel and Standard Forms Manager, Shaun Jaerolansar.
