The Legacy Behind the John Armeneau Award

For more than forty years, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board has recognized members who exemplify exceptional professionalism, leadership, and community service through the John Armeneau Professional Award. This award proudly carries the name of John Armeneau, a deeply respected Fraser Valley REALTOR® and long-serving Board member whose character, dedication, contributions helped shaped the standard of excellence our organization strives for today.

John Armeneau was a member of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board from 1972 to 1996. Throughout his twenty-four years of service, he earned admiration for his unwavering integrity, his commitment to ethical practice, and his belief in elevating the profession for the benefit of both members and the communities we serve. In 1992, he became the seventh recipient of the Board’s Professional of the Year Award, which was first established in 1985 to recognize outstanding service and leadership.
