Tech Tip #15 – The Paragon® Opt-in Email Service

When your client’s home purchase or sale (or both) is complete, your client may decide to unsubscribe from Paragon’s email services.

It’s helpful to know when a client has opted out of Paragon’s auto notifications and if/when these email notifications have bounced.

In the Contacts page, you will see a white envelope with a red exclamation mark.

You may also receive a ‘notification of recipient opt-out’ from email@paragonmessaging.com advising a client has opted out of receiving emails.

You may be unaware your client has unsubscribed from Paragon emails and receive an “opted out” notification when you try to manually send a listing to your client within Paragon.

Resubscribe a client

To resubscribe a client to Paragon’s email notifications:

  • Log in to Paragon and click on resources
  • Under ‘All REALTORS® Tools’, click on ‘Paragon Email Opt-in Link’

Enter your client’s email address in the ‘opt-in email address’ field.

Then select “Opt-in to receive emails from any agent using this software” and click next.

Your client will receive an email from email@ParagonMessaging.com. They have 72 hours to click the provided URL or ‘click here’ to opt back in to receiving Paragon emails.

Please note, your client must click on the link to complete the opt-in process. If they ignore the email, your client will not receive Paragon email notifications and is considered opted out.

By following these steps, you can easily identify when your client has opted out of receiving emails and guide them through the process of opting back in.
