Tech Tip # 14 – How the “Assume Identity” Feature in Paragon® Can Help You

With the number of Fraser Valley listings at a five-year high, and many members taking well-deserved holidays, agents may appreciate extra administrative support this summer.

Paragon’s® Assume Identity feature grants your assistants or colleagues access to your account and your user-class privileges without sharing your personal login details.

In addition to the administrative support, the Assume Identity feature helps to increase efficiency in your office, train and mentor newer agents, and manage your growing list of clients ensuring every client receives great customer service.

Members are reminded that granting access to others will give them access to your legal contracts, data and listing information.

Granting Access

To set up the Assume Identity feature, log into Paragon® and click “Preferences” > “User”.

Click “Assume Identity” on the left panel under “User Preferences”, then click “Add”.

The “Add Agent to Assume Identity” window will pop up and in the search bar, type the name of the assistant or fellow REALTOR® you wish to add to your Assume Identity list. Select their name and click “Save” to apply the changes.

Assuming an Identity

Now that your team member or assistant has been granted your Assume Identity access, they can find it by clicking on their profile name in the top right corner of Paragon® and selecting “Assume Identity.”

On the Assume Identity pop-up, select the REALTOR® whose identity you wish you assume, then select “Assume”.

To return to your account, select the top right corner where your profile is and click “HERE”.

To remove someone on your Assume Identity list, go to “Preferences” > “User” > “Assume Identity”, select a name and click “delete” at the top of the screen.
