When shopping for a home, most buyers look online before viewing a property in person. REALTOR.ca gets more than 240 million visits each year, so it makes good business sense to include compelling photos and videos in your listings.
Paragon® makes it easy to upload virtual tour URLs and feature videos of your listings to help you capture a buyer’s attention and encourage them to spend more time exploring the listing.
To include URLs in your listing, log into Paragon® and click on “listings.”
Under “maintain”, click on “listings”, and locate the listing you want.
Click on “select an action” to select the “add/edit virtual tours” feature.
Here, you will find five fields. Field 354, the “Virtual Tour URL” field, is a key field.
Paste your URL into the “Virtual Tour URL” field (354) and your virtual tour video will appear on a REALTOR.ca listing just above the property description.
To ensure your video is properly embedded into the listing, and a full thumbnail of the video is visible, use links from a comprehensive list of designated virtual tour providers including, but not limited to:
- iGuide
- YouTube
- Vimeo
- Matterport
- RealVision
- Immoviewer
- Staging
- ImageMaker 360
- Property Panorama
- 3D Tour
- List Simple
After you save the Virtual Tour link in your listing, it will take 1-2 hours to appear on REALTOR.ca.
Links from other video companies won’t embed as a thumbnail in the listing and will appear as a “Multimedia” icon at the bottom of your listing.
This multimedia could include a link from your personal website, a drone video, a Designated Virtual Tour or any other URL.
Use fields 355 (Property Brochure URL) and 399 (Alt Feature Sheet URL) for additional URLs you may wish to include.
Please note the number of the fields may vary depending on property type.
Use field 399 (Alt Feature Sheet URL) to enter additional virtual tour URLs which will appear as a “more information” icon on REALTOR.ca. TikTok videos can also be included in field 399 and will also appear as a “more information” icon.
Field 355 (Property Brochure) can also accommodate various URLs as well as website hosted PDFs. Links in this field will appear as the “brochure icon”.
