If you have already donated to the 2020 REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive, thank you! You have helped to raise $13,270.84 for the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community as well as challenged by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to donate, don’t worry: we’ve extended the deadline to end of day on Monday, November 30, due to technical difficulties with our fundraising site. So, there’s still time for you, your office, and your clients to donate to this great cause!
The more we raise, the more we can give to our 26 Fraser Valley-area Blanket Drive charities. They will use the funds to purchase blankets, clothing and other items for people who are homeless and in need. Please help if you can!

Show your support for Fraser Valley communities – it’s easy:
1. Donate on our Charitable Impact fundraising page. A donation of at least $5 will automatically generate a tax receipt sent to you via email. Charities will receive your donation minus credit card processing fees charged to Charitable Impact, a registered Canadian charity. There is no administration fee being charged by Charitable Impact.
2. Share our new #passthedonation video on your social media channels. This cool video features Fraser Valley and Vancouver board Realtors demonstrating how easy it is to donate:

3. Add our new REALTORS Care® frame to your Facebook profile:
- Log into your Facebook account.
- Click on the camera icon in the lower right part of your profile picture or click on your profile picture and select “Update Profile Picture.”
- Choose “Add Frame.”
- Search for “blanket drive.” You will then see the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive frame. It is yellow and teal.
- Optional: You can zoom into your photo or drag to reposition. You can also choose when to switch back to your previous profile (example: one month, one week, custom). When you are happy with your image, click “Use as Profile Picture.”
- Include a note with your profile such as: “Donate by Nov. 30 to support people in need in Fraser Valley communities: ” (The link goes to our fundraising page.)
New rewards!
We’ve thrown in some new rewards for donors, courtesy of CREA! Between Wednesday, November 25 at 3 pm and Monday, Nov. 30 at 4:30 pm, any FVREB member or office that donates at least $100 to the Drive will be entered into new draws for one of four red REALTORS Care®-branded toques and one of five face masks provided by CREA.
