Listings can now be entered into Paragon using our new “Add a New Listing to FA status” feature
The Board has been working with Black Knight (Paragon) to develop an alternative to “Upload Listing” for use on rare occasions when WEBForms® is not available.
This new feature allows you to enter your listings directly into Paragon, in a “For Approval” status, should the need arise. This is a ”back-up” tool to the ”Upload Listing” process members currently use via WEBForms®.
How it works:
Similar to “Upload Listing,” the listing information you enter into Paragon will be saved and held in “For Approval” status until either your brokerage (if they are set up for Broker Load), or FVREB’s MLS® Team reviews the signed listing documents and activates the listing. What you need to get started:
You need to be authorized for Agent Modify. Currently, 76 per cent of FVREB members already have Agent Modify access, which allows them to edit the remarks and non-contractual fields in their listings in Paragon. If you are among them, you already have access to the handy new ”back-up” tool, should you need it.
Don’t have Agent Modify yet? Locate the Agent Modify and Add New Listing to FA Authorization form on REALTOR Link®. Once you have completed the form and it has been signed by your Member Link (usually your Managing Broker), your office will need to send it to the Board’s Membership staff for processing.
You will be notified via email once your form has been processed (once you’ve been notified of your activation, it may take up to one business day to take effect).
Once you’re set up to use Agent Modify, should the need arise, you can enter a new listing using Paragon’s “Add a New Listing to FA status” feature.
Upload Listing is still the fastest way to get a listing on the MLS®:
“Upload Listing” is still the primary and most efficient method of getting your listing on the MLS®.
However, on the rare occasion that WEBForms® is down or you’d prefer to enter your listing in Paragon, you can use the “Add a New Listing to FA status” feature to enter your listing on the MLS®.
NOTE: This new feature is currently only available for residential listings, however we are working to offer the same feature in Paragon Commercial in the future.
