Since the launch of PDP in 2005, the FVREB has provided members with a robust program including new courses every year, a dedicated education calendar, discounts for credit card registration, transcripts and certificates provided free of charge, and multiple class locations, including offsite options.
In the last two years, the Board has offered 15 new PDP courses and despite rising costs for instructors and overhead, was able to maintain the price structure established in January 2009.
We have never compromised the quality of our courses and have consistently offered new topics, technical enhancements and free information sessions on new tools and software.
The Board is committed to delivering the highest quality core services and support to our members. With the launch of the new PDP program on January 1, 2020, the Board will have an opportunity to develop accredited courses in-house, which we intend to pursue, providing even more options for members.
This update of our course fee structure allows us to provide you with progressive options for your professional development; and, ensures that we’re managing our resources responsibly while remaining competitive within the industry. In future, course fees will be reviewed annually and adjusted as needed to keep pace with inflation.
