As reported in eMemo #4349, the British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) has issued an Order In Urgent Circumstances (OIUC), effective November 20, 2025, to suspend the real estate licenses of the following brokerages: Lighthouse Realty Ltd. (Fraser Valley Real Estate Board) and Jovi Realty Inc. (Greater Vancouver REALTORS®).
Pursuant to the OIUC, the two brokerages must immediately cease providing real estate services to any member of the public. No listing or other real estate contracts may be entered into in the name of Lighthouse or Jovi.
As a result, all Lighthouse and Jovi listings have been removed from MLS® and all transactions in Lighthouse’s and Jovi’s bank accounts are frozen.
Members or brokerages who have ongoing or pending dealings with Lighthouse or Jovi are advised to take appropriate measures to ensure that agent licenses have been transferred to an active brokerage.
