Applications Open for First Round of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Grants, $100,000 Funds Available

The Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (FVRCF) has announced that the application period for the first round of grants is now open. One-time grants of $1,000 to $10,000 are available to support vulnerable youth in the Fraser Valley. If you or your clients support local charities whose work brings lasting positive change for youth, don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the first round of giving.

The grant is open to registered Canadian charities that:
(a) are located in, or who offer programs within, the Fraser Valley communities of Surrey, Langley, North Delta, White Rock, Abbotsford, or Mission; and
(b) work directly with at-risk youth under the age of 29.

John Barbisan, Chair of the FVRCF Board of Directors, said they aim to be a “low barrier” granting agency. “We are determined to get much-needed funds to charitable organizations working directly with our at-risk youth,” he said.

Charities can visit www.fvrcf.ca/grants/ or contact FVRCF directly at info@fvrcf.ca. The deadline to apply for the first round of grants is Friday, March 17, 2023. Charities will be notified of the results of their application in early April.
