To meet the growing needs of Fraser Valley homebuyers, starting April 1 “Active Under Contract” status will be visible on REALTOR.ca, providing buyers with more transparency.
When “Active Under Contract” status was first released in Paragon® last year, listings that were “Active Under Contract” were displayed on REALTOR.ca as “Active”.
Now that the initial transitional period, which allowed members time to get used to the new status, has passed, and CREA has completed the work to facilitate this new status on REALTOR.ca, as of April 1, the status of those listings will now display as “Active Under Contract” on REALTOR.ca.
Please note: As per eMemo #4285, responsibility for changing a listing status on Paragon® from “Active” to “Active Under Contract”, or vice-versa, rests solely with the Listing Agent or Broker Load brokerage, Board staff will not be making these changes. Check with your Managing Broker for your office policy on the use of “Active Under Contract”.
